EAGM's Exciting New
Line Up for 2012
The EAGM kicks off the new year with diverse exhibitions of contemporary
art, celebrating the work of artists both local and national. We always
like to keep things interesting here and offer something for every
contemporary art lover. Taking over our Galleries this season are
exhibits that are sure to tantalize and inspire. To see what we have

Opening Reception:
Thursday, May 10th @ 7:00pm
Join us this Thursday, May 10th for a joint opening reception!
Edward Gibney's Conversation With Stone will be opening in
Gallery II. This exhibition features abstract, stone sculpture.
In Gallery I, Dwelling will be opening. Curated by
Natalie Buongiorno, this group exhibition features a variety of
Saskatchewan and Ontario based artists. Natalie Buongiorno
will be in attendance to talk about her curatorial concept for this
exhibit. The reception will start at 7:00pm, snacks and
refreshments are provided. All are welcome to attend!
7th Annual Chili Cook-Off: Saturday, June 23rd @ 4:00pm
Come
on out for the EAGMs 7th Annual Chili Cook-Off! See if you can
take the heat as you sample chili from our various competitors, while
enjoying a beverage in our beer gardens. Vote for your favourite
chili, and the best dressed competitor booth! Tickets are $15/
person advance, or $20/person at the door. Tickets are available
at Hender's or at the art gallery. Don't miss out on this fun
summer fundraiser, with all proceeds raised going to education and
community programming.
Spring Courses for
Adults!
The new year is bringing lots of exciting new
initiatives at the EAGM. This year we are happy to introduce new adult
art classes that we know you will be just as excited about! Check them

Imaginary Landscapes
Our newly located Project Wall houses intricate artworks by
Sharon Eisbrenner this month, installed until June 2nd. Be sure to
check it out!
